My Callouses
So ever since callouses formed and my hands ripped open I have done a terrible job of taking care of my hands. They are so dry and rough! I am not all that sure of how to take care of my hands. Some people say cut the callouses once they dry, others say to rub them down with a pumice stone. I do all that and yet they still look and feel nasty. Crossfit Total!

What do you think?
75 deadlifts at 135 pounds today 21 deadlifts at 145 pounds on Monday I think its very safe to say that my previous 1 rep max deadlift of 175 is no longer my 1 rep max. Maybe I can finally hit that 200 pounds I wanted so bad, maybe. When I’m feeling really rested I’ll do some warm ups and try it. If I hit it, I’ll die! Of happiness of course :)

Blisters on my callouses??
I’ve been trying to super hardcore, ok not really, I’ve just been trying to force myself to workout without gloves. Ring Dips
Sundays are open gym at our box and I have been wanting to work on muscle ups so I decided to first see how well I stand with ring dips. The 2011 Crossfit Games were insane!
It was absolutely an awesome experience to be out in Cali to see so many amazing competitors compete! The beauty of it all, despite everyone competing for the same title, all competitors were supporting and cheering each other on during the three days. The camaraderie of crossfit is unlike any other. So great to be there in person and watch. I really hope next year we can have one of our very own...
