Life is too short not to do things that make you happy. Worry about the person who matters most and that person is yourself. The people who truly care and really matter will still be there at the end of the day. Those who aren’t? It’s their loss. There are plenty of people in the world waiting for their first chance so don’t hold on to the people who don’t want to be in your life or respect you enough when you were in their life. Do what you want to do. Live for you and no one else.
I finally got my kipping motion down!! I can kip 3 pull ups in a row because I was finally able to get all the movements to flow. Of course like the first time I kipped sloppily and got my chin over the bar by mistake is the same way I got this move down. It was an accident but an accident I appreciate it lol. Also, I can do 5 strict pull ups from a dead hang!! OH YEA! The aim is for 10 by the end of March.
I was talking to a crossfit newbie. She just recently joined and today was her 4th or 5th class. She’s a cute little thing with so many questions and concerns, comparing herself to the rest of us who have been doing crossfit for months in a sense of worrying she’ll never get on our level. I had a great talk with her and I was so honored when she told me I was the reason she signed up. It was so sweet to hear her saying I inspired her to join the box. I told her the best advice I could give her was not to compare herself to the rest of us because crossfit is so individualized and something that may be easy for her might be hard for me and in due time once she learned all the movements and kept with her training she’ll be more than proud of her progress. Feels good to know I move people even while I’m busy focusing on myself.

We were supposed to increase our weight after each round but my shoulder was acting up so I did 45lbs for my first round and then 50lbs for my second round and and the rest. The purpose was to transition into all these lifts and do the whole round unbroken. I did all 5 rounds unbroken with a few minutes rest in between each round.
Post WOD I decided to work on some stuff so I worked on my push press and back squat.
